No “Backpack Kid” did not invent the floss dance…

So, another person predictably is now trying to sue Epic Games and Fortnight for “stealing” their dance moves. Funny how they are all now popping out of the woodwork after the game has reached its peak in popularity making millions if not billions each year. Not only is Alfonso Ribeiro suing Epic Games for supposedly stealing a dance move he stole from two other people. But now the “Backpack Kid” aka Russell Horning has decided to sue Epic Games as well for supposedly stealing his dance move called: “The Floss”:

But it as it turns out just like Alfonso Ribeiro good old Russel Horning stole the dance from someone else. That someone else being Ryan Mayall  who uploaded a Youtube video entitled:  “The Dance” all the way back in 2011, 7 years before either Fortnight or “Backpack Kid” showed up:

Around the 50 second mark of the video, Ryan does the supposed signature move of the “Backpack Kid” so basically two of the people who are now trying to extort I mean sue Epic Games and Fortnight for supposedly “stealing” their signature dance moves they themselves stole from someone else. So, in essence, they want money for something that they did not create in the first place, which is pretty ironic…
