New Ghostbusters theme song may induce projectile vomiting

So in honor of getting a terrible Ghost Busters reboot/remake we are also getting a terrible remake of  original Ghostbusters song by Ray Parker Jr. that spent 3 weeks at #1 on the Billboard top 100 during the films release because it was so popular. Not to mention to this day people quote it anytime someone says “who you gonna call” it is that ingrained into pop culture. The classic tune has now been replaced by whiny pop punk featuring Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott.

And it is called: “Ghostbusters (I’m Not Afraid)” Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with Fall Out Boy or Missy Elliott, who features on the song. It is the fact that it is just a terrible version of the Ray Parker Jr song. The new song is deeply un-enjoyable and utterly reprehensible, just like the movies trailers. So I guess it is a perfect fit then? Warning listening to the song might send you into spastic fits and induce ear bleeding, and projectile vomiting.

It reminds me of cheesy early pre-Broken Nine-Inch-Nails.
