Hideo Kojima’s sad farewell to Metal Gear Solid franchise

When as a developer you spend almost 30 years of your life on a video game franchise like Metal Gear Solid, and all the while garnering praise for each installment. But then get unceremoniously dismissed by your company because they have decided that money is what matters most, then you know there is something seriously wrong in the industry for something like this to happen. I have been playing Kojima games produced by Konami since the very first Metal Gear on the NES was released. And now it’s over…the important part of the below video starts at 6:31, where Kojima visits the home of a departed fan.
