Colour me interested! One of my all-time favourite authors being involved in a gothic supernatural musical that is not glee. And no this is most definitely not a joke, and it is definitely way too late for an April fool’s joke. Pity I won’t be able to see it live, since I am a few million miles away from the good old United States of America. But on the upside for those of us who won’t be able to see the musical it seems you can buy the DVD, CD and eBook here. It really is an interesting concept with 3 very interesting people you would not expect to see in the same room, check out the trailer and synopsis below.
“In the tiny town of Lake Belle Reve, Mississippi, in 1957, a terrible tragedy took the lives of two brothers and a beautiful young girl. During the next forty years the events of that night became the stuff of local legend. But legend is often just another word for lie. Joe McCandless knows what really happened; he saw it all. The question is whether or not he can bring himself to tell the truth in time to save his own troubled sons and whether the ghosts left behind by an act of violence will help him – or tear the McCandless family apart forever.”
