Ghost in the Shell: Arise will be a four-part prequel showing the history which eventually led Motoko Kusanagi to become a cyborg crime fighter. Each of the series’ four parts will be approximately an hour long, and will be shown briefly in theatres in June before heading to Blu-ray and DVDs on July 26th. The first trailer for Ghost in the Shell: Arise is below:
So I am guessing I am the only one who finds this news exciting? Because the rest of Anime fandom collectively had a shit in their pants, the trailer was not flashy enough. The character design is lacking, why is it a prequel and not a sequel. Really people? Anime fandom is just looking for something to complain about and declared the series ruined based on a 2 minute trailer. The proof is in the pudding and no one has had a proper taste of it just yet.
